Aprezo (Апремиласт)

 Aprezo 30 is an antirheumatic agent used to treat active psoriatic arthritis, a form of arthritis associated with psoriasis. It is also used to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis, a severe skin condition characterized by symptoms such as skin rashes, flakes on the skin, etc. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients under the age of 18. ,

Aprezo  (Apremilast  )  30  mg  , a phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor, is indicated for the treatment of:

1. Adult patients with active psoriatic arthritis

2. Patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis who are candidates for phototherapy or systemic therapy.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

To reduce the risk of gastrointestinal symptoms, titrate to the recommended dose of 30 mg twice daily according to the following schedule

Day 1: 10 mg in the morning

Day 2: 10 mg in the morning and 10 mg in the evening

Day 3: 10 mg in the morning and 20 mg in the evening

Day 4: 20 mg in the morning and 20 mg in the evening

Day 5: 20 mg in the morning and 30 mg in the evening

Day 6 and onwards: 30 mg twice daily

Dosage for severe renal impairment:

The recommended dose is 30 mg once a day.

For initial dose titration, titrate using only the morning schedule shown in Table 1 and skip  daily doses
