What is Riax 2.5MG used for?
- Riax 2.5 MG is used with diet and exercise to control high blood sugar (hyperglycemia) in adults with type 2 diabetes
- It lowers blood sugar by helping the body increase insulin levels after eating.
- This is not for people with type 1 diabetes and diabetic ketoacidosis (high levels of ketones in the blood or urine)
Talk with your doctor before taking this medicine, including if you:
- Allergy to any ingredients in Riax 2.5 mg
- Have kidney problems
- History of alcoholism
